Revive an old website

The pages can return without their old machinery.
The CMS no longer updates. The theme depends on a vanished plugin. The host finally withdrew the version that kept everything breathing. What remains may be a backup, an export, a server folder, or a mirror taken on the last afternoon.
Bring what survived. We recover the publication as a new static site: its text, images, documents, structure, search, and the useful addresses by which readers still arrive.
Recover what matters
The publication and the software beneath it are different things. The pages may no longer need an admin area, database, plugin stack, or theme in order to remain useful.
The surviving files are read together instead of copied article by article into another content system. Their folders, headings, dates and links become the beginning of the recovered site.
What returns
Folders become sections. HTML keeps its useful body. PDFs, spreadsheets, audio, video and archives receive pages and addresses of their own. Unknown dates and broken history remain honestly unknown.
Old sitemaps, logs, analytics exports and archive.org crawls can show which addresses still matter. When no exact page survives, the nearest useful destination receives the visit.
